London is always amazing. Especially as Marja's guest, there are plenty of surprises that delight your body and mind. 


See yourself and your life in a new light.


In the rapid changes of the world, the body and mind easily get stuck – then it's time to do something completely new!  London refreshes and nurtures the mind by pampering us with colour and diversity. The city moves and ripples. Come to renew and unleash your creativity.


It's interesting how stress affects us. London is a city where a world of contrast, traditional and conservative customs coexists with a rapidly renewing, pulsating world of fashion and music, side by side. This contrast symbolizes the life of many, where work life and one's own personal life conflicts being different worlds. 


We pass through two different Londons. During our trip, we will experience how old royal London supports everything new. You get to experience and sense how the need to create something new can be seen everywhere, even on the streets. One cannot help but admire the beauty of street dance and art.


The Method Putkisto program provides tools and ideas for stress relief. We will explore the levels of the new MP Fire Up programme as we move through London. We study the basics of movement and refine our own way of moving. Over the weekend, it will become apparent what power thoughts have and what the core message of the Fire Up program means in practice: Empower yourself from stress!

Thursday 16th May

  • Arriving in London, where Ruby Hotel Lucy awaits its guests at a special price. (2 nights) Address: 100-108 Lower Marsh, London SE1 7RA.

Friday 17th May

Let's move through London, its history and fashion trends. London enchants and gives strength. London is a thousands-year-old city with roots so deep that it has not been defeated by wars, floods or disasters. The city always blossoms, surprising each of its inhabitants again and again! 


  • Enjoy a healthy breakfast at the hotel.

  • Put on comfortable walking shoes and walk through Waterloo Station to the neoclassical Somerset House cultural center, a palace building that has served throughout its history as the home of many queens, among others. 



Marja Putkisto & MP team presents Method Putkisto’s new recovery program in the heart of LONDON.


This is an event where you will get to know Nordic Method Putkisto and its latest innovation Fire Up, Recuperate In 5 weeks -programme for Stress management and work well-being.

  • Presentation of Method Putkisto, body&face method for well-being

  • Let’s focus, no more procrastination! New MP Fire Up, Recuperate in 5 weeks -Programme by Marja. How and why stress can be destructive for our health and looks, 5 elements to revert stress to strength. 

  

Let's practice and improve our focus. When thoughts are ignited, resilience improves.

  •  Changing one's routine is a big deal! 

  • Tips to take with you.   

  • Reflection, relaxation, cool down. 

We offer participants the opportunity to sign into the 5-week FIRE UP program at a special price. 


We then continue our journey

  • with walking and the FIRE UP program. This is a perfect moment for reflection.

Saturday 18th May

  • OPTION 1: 08.00 -10.00 - Let's enjoy breakfast in peace. Free program, shopping as you choose.

OPTION 2: 06.00 - London and You - a decidedly happy photo shooting day

We are adventuring in the London landscape. We will need to leave early in the morning and will take art pictures of ourselves in London's scenery, weather permitting.

  • Transfer to Petersham Hotel (4 star hotel) - Nightingale Lane, Richmond upon Thames, TW10 6UZ


  • 16:00 - 17:00 (TBC) We continue our journey to the scenic Richmond, where you feel like you're in the countryside with deer walking in the meadow, even though you're in a big city. Let's stretch in historical landscapes and let's vent our thoughts. Walking through Richmond to the Petersham Hotel (Nightingale Ln, Richmond TW10 6UZ)

  • 18:30 dinner at the Ivy Cafe restaurant (9-11 Hill St, Richmond TW9 1SX). The Ivy is famous for its food and the place where you can bump into celebrities, which Richmond has plenty of, from David Attenborough to members of the Rolling Stones.

  • Drinks at the Bingham Riverhouse Hotel, if there is still enough energy! (61-63 Petersham Rd, Richmond TW10 6UT)


 

Sunday 19th May

  • Early morning walk & coffee with Marja on Turner Hill in the Queen's garden. Let's identify the bodily things that are important to us.

  • There is still time to shop in Anna's boutique during the day. Anna's boutique has been an experience for 40 years: she has dressed and styled her customers for decades. (44 Hill Rise, Richmond, TW10 6UB). Anna takes good care of us.

  • Departure.



Who is this course trip suitable for?

The course is suitable for those who long for a cosmopolitan atmosphere and are ready for adventure. For those with an open mind and a bag of humor. You do not need any previous experience with Method Putkisto. Marja will share her best secrets with you.

What equipment is needed?

We recommend comfortable clothes that are good to move in, both outdoors and indoors. It is important to bring running shoes or shoes suitable for walking. A nice accessory for photo shoots. London’s weather can also be very unpredictable.
