From Spring Fatigue to Vitality – Come Alive from the Inside Out!

Marja's Club

Spring is a time when we want to refresh ourselves – and deeply! It is a time of opening and renewal, also in nature. But what if spring fatigue stands in the way, and no amount of coffee helps?

Stress is not just a feeling – it affects the whole body. Prolonged stress disrupts the natural rhythm of cortisol, causing the metabolism to slow down, increasing hunger and prompting the body to store fluid and fat. In the spring sunshine, this becomes visible on the face, waist and thighs.

The use of digital devices runs at a different pace from the cycles of nature. If the senses are not connected to the motor functions of the whole body – and are therefore not holistic, embodied experiences – they continually burden the central nervous system. No wonder that by evening so many of us sink into the sofa feeling drained. It is difficult to see one's own situation clearly, and stress quietly becomes a way of life.

Is there a remedy for the hormonal imbalance caused by stress? Well-planned bodywork is certainly one of them.

We all have an innate need built into our bodies to guide our activity towards balance. It is precisely the sensitivity and functionality of this regulatory mechanism that is worth nurturing.

The sensory system controls the nervous system, and the nervous system controls the body. When the senses are balanced, the nervous system calms down. You feel better, the tissues firm up and the mind clears. The body begins to function as it should. This is holistic well-being – from the inside out. True energy is found deep within.

It is reassuring to know that a stressed mind can be balanced and regulated through exercise and well-designed movement.

Marja's Club New 6-Week Module: "Balance and Well-being"

This new module shows how much new strength flows into the body when the nervous system is given the chance to calm down. In our Body sessions, we stretch ourselves to become strong and flexible. In our Face sessions, we lift the face by strengthening the facial muscles.

Marja's Club training is designed to support metabolism and reduce stress. In her coaching, Marja uses the Method Putkisto 3D method, which goes far beneath the surface and has a deep effect on the body's regulatory systems. The skill stays with you for life.

Balance of body and mind is one of the most important goals of Method Putkisto, and achieving it requires consistent maintenance. Regular exercise in small doses is more effective than infrequent sessions done with too much force, which strains the body rather than supporting it to function properly. Each session is 25 minutes.

The way we use our body affects our entire life and its quality. A body that is well-aligned is functional and beautiful to behold. When the senses are balanced, a person becomes whole – able to feel deeply and enjoy scents and tastes. They see the world around them, appreciate colours and the richness of their surroundings. The auditory landscape connects us to the three-dimensional world. Balance shows itself in a liberated, open presence.

FACTS

• The level of the human stress hormone cortisol is at its highest in the morning and decreases towards night.

• Stress can become chronic, at which point cortisol levels may no longer vary regularly, affecting metabolism.

• A stressed person's hearing, smell, taste and sense of touch all weaken.

My passion is to give everyone the keys to independence – and when that happens together with fellow club members, the experience becomes many times more valuable. -Marja Putkisto
